Trivia[]

  • Though portrayed as female in the game and show, Bismark itself is one of only a few ships that was considered to be a male. This was done at the behest of Captain Lindemann who helmed the vessel during its maiden voyage and considered the ship too powerful to be classified as female.[1]
  • Bismarck was ranked the 3rd Most popular character in popularity poll 2019
  • In Azur Lane: Crosswave when she was in the main fleet the game consider her eyes being green although in anime and her artwork her eyes are blue.
  • In Azur Lane: Slow Ahead! the imperial colors on her hat from the base game artwork (Red, White, Black) have been censored and replaced with a white spot on the front of her hat, and with just White and Red on its sides.
  • Purportedly, Bismarck owns a cat called Oskar.
